Just activated Voice Mail on Airtel Karnataka Postpaid account. Process is quite simple and it does work.
Activate VMS by dialing.321.671# from your cell phone. Set your Voice Mailbox account with name, PIN, Welcome message by dialing 52555 while in home network or +91 of roaming.
Add +91 as your voice mailbox number in your handset. Forward your calls to the above number the way you want i.e. Forward when Unanswered/ Forward when unreachable/ Forward when busy in your handset. Have followed above configuration on Mi RedMi 1S handset and it does work. Configuration may differ from handset to handset.
To De-activate VMS dial.321.673# from your cell phone. Hope this helps all Android phone users. “ORIGINALITY CAN NOT BE REPLICATED” Someone copied this post and created his own post by cutting my whole story out. To him I say: We are here to entertain, and to be entertained, good sir. You are taking away all the fun from life. You are simply, all BANG with no dinner, wine nor foreplay.
A sad man you are. Comment of the Year 2017 from Kapil on this post! Just awesome. Was trying to solve this riddle for years since my return from US. I called customer care many times earlier To no benefit, finally gave up. Tried again yesyerday after reading this post.and you know what- it worked!
Wow, what a relief, VMS is very helpful. I am trying to tell people for years in India, to send SMS or WhatsApp me in case of work, as VMS is not in India. But people don’t use it, I don’t know why?
I just don’t understand why people don’t send one SMS or voicemail instead of calling 1000 times for imp. Just last thing- when I called Airtel customer care executive today about Voice mail Service, he started telling me about INVOICE of bills, voice plans (call plans), and finally when I asked if he has any idea what I am asking forhe started telling about data plans Thanks bro for solving this, it’s really helpful.especially in medical profession to not to miss imp. Calls from people about when they need me etc.
Comment of the year 2016 from Mr. Singh On this post. I absolutely loved your post or text or whatever the correct terminology is. And that conversation with the operator was hysterically funny.
Happens to me all the time with lots of institutions, not just Airtel. Banks, post offices, all types of call centres, etc. How about you instruct us how we can set up a quick and easy method of recording these conversations? Couldn’t quite hack your survey however. I’ve only ever had Airtel, so I know nothing about the other service providers. I think Airtel is absolutely lousy.
I would love to give it a rating of -200 over 100 (minus 200). But I’m pretty sure the others are equally bad, so there’s no point shifting. I have a nightmare story where my elderly aunt and uncle were badly stuck in a remote village in Europe and their phone which they had set up properly before leaving India, denied them calls. I went crazy here, but the Vodaphone helpline couldn’t care less. Keep up the good work. By the way, I have the leisure to write this long message because Airtel has asked me to hold while they are trying to figure out what’s wrong with my voicemail!!!!
Thought of the year 2017 About 100 people a day see this post. If even 40 people a day setup Voicemail, then this post has been responsible for helping over 1.5 lakh (150,0000) people setup Voicemail in India, and be more productive with their days. God bless India. A final poll of interest for everyone. Thanks for the post. I have been trying to setup voicemail on my Airtel phone for the last 45 days.
Have spent a total of 8 hours speaking to call centre staff and call centre supervisors over some 17-18 calls in these 45 days. I am kicking myself for not googling it instead and stumbling upon a supremely helpful post by a public spirited person who went through similar torture. Your post worked. It took me 10 minutes. I now have working voicemail and the freedom to keep my phone off 3-7 hours a day when I am in meetings or need to work uninterrupted.
I think this is really going into the field of “ridiculous”. We’ve had an airtel fixed line connection since 2002 and had the voicemail services free of cost since then.
Last year we went out of India for five months. On return we found that the facility was no longer available. My several inquires with airtel, verbally and in writing, brought back the stereotype reply “sorry, this service is not available on your phone number”. On reminders, that this service was available for ten years, so why not now, the rebot-reply came: sorry this service is not available on your phone, WITHOUT GIVING REASON AS TO WHY THIS SERVICE WAS DISCONNECTED. Now, the entire communication of various clients with the person who apparently holds the key of how to get back to “airtel voicemail services” seems also ridiculous to me. Come on, man, Airtel is a public server, and cannot.should notkeep such services as “mystery card”. I’ve had a lot of patience with them, and if they do not “gird up their loins”.as they say.I have absolutely no hesitation in changing on to another server.
Hi, Just read your blog and looks you got how to get through this issue. I faced the same issue with Airtel operators. And thats really strange, everybody there has same answer for VM setup. Anyways, I have already activated VM on my airtel, it works now. BUT THE ISSUE IS, I setup my own greetings (in my voice) and wanted to bring them into existence, but no luck. Can you please help me if there is any way? Please don’t play with my emotions.
? I need to fix it and I don’t want to go for any other service provider. Please reply me on. Really thanx in advance! Seriously if india were not in such a unemployment crisis then i am quite sure there was no need for those stupid “customer care executives” seriously they are so helpless themselves i feel bad for them too at times. What more to say but with your step by step instructions i am so relieved that after 2 weeks of working myself up over the phone with the brilliant service providers i am finally able to activate my voicemail sucessfully and that too in abrely 5 mins.kuddos to you thank you so much. I speak to, too many Delhi-ites that keep telling me how technologically advanced India has become and I always refer them back to Customer services of ANY SINGLE company My God – I lose hair just thinking about asking a member of staff for help in a unique situation, where the staff have to use their mind (NOT SCRIPTED REPLY that I myself can find from their FAQ on their website) – and experience, and training to answer NOT make up stuff and use their authority as an EMPLOYEE to act like they know best!! I’m from Hyderabad, and i did set it up quite easily on my Note2.
Call.321.671# to activate, you will get a sms confirmation 2. Call 52555 and do your PIN set up and welcome message in your voice its pretty simple just follow the IVRS instruction. I didn’t have to setup the call forwarding numbers, it got auto set. AND Voila its done ?!! Thanks for the activation number, the one complaining are the ones who haven’t even tried setting up. People if it dosen’t work in the first 10 times.
It will happen n the 11th yeah. I dialed.321.671# and set up my voicemail (of course, call charges were applicable and it cost me around Rs.3 for the whole process). I dialed 52555 to check if my voicemail was all set and functioned. Everything was fine. Then I made necessary call forwarding arrangements on my phone through Call Settings. The call divert number had automatically been set to +91 already.
So there was not much to do. And then, I called my phone from another phone very sure that I will successfully reach my voicemail service.
But the call didn’t go through to the voicemail. I only heard the voice response system telling me that the subscribe has diverted the calls to a number and that I was to wait until the call is connected to the diverted number.
The announcement was made in three languages and I held on patiently. But all I got to hear after that announcement was another announcement saying the call could not be forwarded. To cut the long story short, I could successfully set up my Airtel VMS but found that it does not work after it was set up. I deactivated it immediately. I am from Chennai and the voice mail box number to check messages is 52555. But for iPhone users dialing.505# (or any other) will not set the voicemail app to auto dial your mail box number. This is because the iPhone app is a Visual Voice Mail (VVM) option and Airtel in India does not support VVM.
Airtel Parallel Ringing Activation
So only way is to save 52555 in your favorites and dial from there. But I am stuck in one place that after activating voice mail (.321.671#), by default the voice mail option has been set to – UNANSWERED CALLS i.e. If I do not answer an incoming call then after 30 secs it goes to VM and I can record a message. But if I try switching off my mobile, its does not go to voice mail. Using.61. short codes also did not help.
Gave an error. The call forward option is disabled and I am not sure what to mention there.
IPhone does not give a choice to select under what conditions to make Call Forwarding (from the options section). Yes, I did set up the voicemail. However, the unanswered phone calls will not divert to the voicemail system, which defeats the whole purpose of having a voicemail system.
In my case, I will just have to monitor the handset over time to see if I have missed any calls and simply call them back. If only they would just call my US phone (which has a voicemail system built into the service at no additional charge), but all of the locals want for us to have a local number, so now I have one with no voicemail service. To activate voice mail in Airtel Dial Step1 dial.321.671# This will activate voicemail in your Airtel phone Or Send SMS: START VMS to 52555 Step2 dial 52555 Follow the instructions and enter your new 4 digit pin To activate call forwarding to voice mail during busy dial.999# If busy Check Status:.#67.11# Activate:.999.11# Deactivate: #67.11# if no answer Check Status:.#61.11# Activate:.999.11.sec# choose anything 5 to 30 secs Deactivate: #61.11# If unreachable Check Status:.#62.11# Activate:.999.11# Deactivate: #62.11#. Thanks Mate, After making lots of calls to airtel, nothing worked but this blog helped me to setup voicemail on my airtel number.
Here is step which worked for me. Note- I am from Delhi Circle 1- Activated the Voice Mail Service by Dialing.321.671# 2- Set forwarding to for Unanswered or Unreachable calls. 3- Dial 52555 Toll free to listen your message, you can also customize your voicemail settings by dialling this number. 4- If you are roaming than you can use number to listen voicemail. I am facing the same problem here. It says ur number has voicemail activated, but wen i am calling from a different number and wen the call isnt answered, then the call is not directed to voicemail, but it ends.
Wen i asked Airtel, they said u need to do call forwarding, wen i did that, then phone without ringing call gets directed to voicemail. It should not happen. Now i am sooo exhausted figuring out how to get the right type of voicemail set up. As you are experienced, could u help please? Hi, just activated Voice Mail on Airtel Karnataka Postpaid account. Process is quite simple and it does work.
Activate VMS by dialing.321.671# from your cell phone. Set your Voice Mailbox account with name, PIN, Welcome message by dialing 52555 while in home network or +91 of roaming. Add +91 as your voice mailbox number in your handset.

Have followed above configuration on Mi RedMi 1S handset and it does work. Configuration may differ from handset to handset. To De-activate VMS dial.321.673# from your cell phone.
Hope this helps all Android phone users. Hello Champ Your post will count in one of the top useful posts in Indian telecom history. The info helped me setup voicemail, but for some odd reason i would not get missed call alerts despite activating it. That meant checking my voice mail box regularly. Then suddenly out of the blue, missed call alerts started working, and i had a slick voicemail service in place. Good things have to end, and the voicemail deactivated when i ported my number from Mumbai to Hyderabad. Now, the same process refuses to work, one of the messages listed in user comments keep popping up.
Tried sending smses, no use. Will keep trying, and hope to share the good news soon. Update: I send an email to Airtel about the issue of no voicemail in Hyderabad, and was asked to share screenshots. I get a very professional looking email stating that a case has been raised, and the support team will call me within 48 hrs. I am promptly called on Monday morning (and I’m falling in love with Airtel customer support), but was unable to attend the call.
A message informed me that the call will be attempted again in a short while (Wow!). Then the call comes, and all the smoke and mirrors fall down! A brusque sounding lady asks, “It seems you have a data issue, what is the problem?” I say, ” Please check the email you sent, i cannot set up voicemail in Hyderabad!” Ms.
No Nonsense – “Let me check with my colleague in voicemail – after some hold music – Airtel does not currently offer voicemail services”. “So why the detailed email about setting up voicemail; can you give that to me in writing?” Ms. No Nonsense – “Sure, send an email to “. Ouch – Airtel sucks.bigtime! First I called the customer care and a guy holding me up for more than 3 mins told your solution of dialing.321.671# for activation and on asking he the voicemail number. I use Motorola Droid Razr XT912 Verizon model.
Beautiful phone. Anyway, I dialed.321.671# and a message window shown on my phone with a number ‘182’ on it’s header stating “Welcome to Airtel’s Voice Mail Service. Press 1 to subscribe for free.” The cursor was blinking and I type ‘1’ and press ‘send’. Then another message window came up with a number ‘182’ on its header, “Due to some internal error, Page cannot be shown.” with a blinking cursor and two buttons ‘Cancel’ & ‘Send’. I again typed ‘1’ and the header number instantly changed to ‘181’ and I sent. Then another window came up with a html header as follows, ” 0 More” And below the cursor was blinking with two button below that writing space, “Cancel” & “Send”.
On sending “1” again this page comes up again & again. After trying for few minutes I had to press the cancel button and it shows “MMI code canceled. I have no idea what to do because “START VMS” to 54321 gives a reply “NO Keyword found”. I don’t know what to do. My connection is a Postpaid Corporate connection and I need this to work very badly but I am stuck. Can you help please? It is not working for me.
Here are the steps that I followed – – Step 1: Dial.321.671# – Step 2: I get message saying “Welcome to Airtel’s Voice Mail Service,Press 1 to subscribe for free.” – Step 3: Upon keying in ‘1’, it gives me an error message saying “Due to some Internal error, Page cannot Display.” It then also sends me an SMS from AM-54888 saying “You have not been able to subscribe to AIRTEL VOICE MAIL Service.” BTW, I use a Blackberry handset, I’ve banged my head enough with customer support and Appellate team of Airtel, and have kind of given up. It doesn’t work for me Please help These are the steps I followed- 1. I dialled.321.671# and I recieved an SMS saying “You have successfully subscribed to Airtel’s Voicemail service.
Dial 52555 to customize. Dial.321.673# to deactivate”. NOTE- I didn’t get any number for roaming. I honestly don’t know what do to next.
![Airtel Parallel Ringing Activation Airtel Parallel Ringing Activation](/uploads/1/2/3/8/123807816/805719709.jpg)
So I called 52555 and set up my welcome message. I dialled the alternative number +91 which asks to enter the call back number followed by hash.
I enter my own number, it didn’t work. Then I enter my another Airtel number, that too didn’t work. Then I enter the same number +91, it says the number is invalid. Then I enter 52555, that doesn’t work either. I activated VMS on the other Airtel number.
I got the same SMS but still without any number other than 52555. Then I enter this new number again as the call back number in the previous number. Save data suikoden 1 mcr epsxe. It says that VMS is not activated on this number. I set up 52555 as the number calls will be diverted to, but upon calling, it hear call cannot be connected. I set up +9199455. As the call diverting number, still it says call cannot be connected.
TELL ME WHAT DO I DO?!?!?!?!?!?! I NEED TO SET UP MY VMS URGENTLY!!!!! I absolutely loved your post or text or whatever the correct terminology is.
And that conversation with the operator was hysterically funny. Happens to me all the time with lots of institutions, not just Airtel. By the way, I have the leisure to write this long message because Airtel has asked me to hold while they are trying to figure out what’s wrong with my voicemail!!!! Thank you for this very informative post. Managed to activate, set up voicemail for airtel on my iphone. Used the number as the diverting number. Problem is when i cut someone’s call, it goes on to announce in 3 languages that the call has been diverted and please wait etc then after some 30 seconds the person can hear my voicemail “leave me a message” message. I doubt anyone will hold that long to hear my message and actually leave me a message. Any workaround here?
Much appreciate you taking time out to write this post. Hi, I have setup Airtel VMS service on my Android handset and it is working like charm for me. However, I am traveling abroad and have few queries which Airtel folks are failed to understand. Will appreciate if you could help – 1. I used to get VM as e-mail attachment as well earlier when I activated VM back in 2007 from so I could listen to my VM when I am aboard without calling India VM number i.e. How can I setup the same again myself because Airtel folks are lame to understand this simple query I have? Is there a way to manage VM without calling Airtel India number which is International call from abroad?
What is the maximum VM’s limit and can that be extended? Please e-mail me your help. Cheers Nitin. They are sick as they take 24 or 48 hours to respond. They are insane as insane that when asked why is the sky blue, they may answer the chicken lays eggs.
And now I have a query where in my voice calls are diverted to +91560 when unreachable ( maybe for some reason that I tried experimenting a stupid USSD code) and now doesnot get deactivated by all the USSD codes in the whole world. The 121support feels its because I have call diverts, I cannot use voice mail and so my voice mai is inactive (P.S my voicemail is active and am using it) they still are having the patience arguing me and proving me wrong that my service is active just because it shows inactive in their moron systems. Hello dear pls provide some help so as I can deactivate this stupid call forward to +91560 and get it diverted to 52555.
I read this post and tried a lot to setup VM in Airtel Delhi. It did not work and I had to call the customer care they were not helpful at all then I mailed the nodal officer and they did it within 48 hours. I was not that patient to work for hours to do it with customer care rep who don’t know nothing.
Airtel Activation Number
However the Voicemail button is not active in my iPhone but it work with 52555. I got to know that Apple uses VVM (Visual Voicemail) service is not offered by any carrier in India, so probably we would have to go with dialing the voicemail number instead of tapping the voicemail button. Thanks for all the info!! Keep up the good work.
Just last thing- when I called Airtel customer care executive today about Voice mail Service, he started telling me about INVOICE of bills, voice plans (call plans), and finally when I asked if he has any idea what I am asking forhe started telling about data plans ?? Thanks bro for solving this, it’s really helpful.especially in medical profession to not to miss imp. Calls from people about when they need me etc. Best, Physician. Hi – Thanks for the steps it helps a lot, and the call center experience – well it only gets better each time! I went to Airtel web site and tried to search all combinations – ‘voice mail’ ‘voicemail’ ‘voice message box’ and got some interesting responses – which were close to the lines you got from the Call center guys:) So I had to come back to old friend google to get the info I have learnt from experience never to call the call center for such things – that is only a test of your patience – of which i unfortunately dont have much ?. I somehow was able to setup my CMS the last time I was in India.
But, it woukdnt let me retrieve the messages as it kept asking me please enter the call back number, and I had no idea what to enter. Tried a few options to no avail. That’s when I stumbled on your arricle, and although I knew it for sure that I had it setup, I read it anyway cuz it listed the realities of Airtel customer service for which u bloody pay now. Although, the emotions were described very politically, I end up telling them that they are morons, And to my surprise U complain and the girl/guy who calls U back regarding the complaint is also a moron.
O.o Anyway, somewhere in the article, I figured that I might have to dial a different number as I am not in my home circle. It worked, thanks bud! It makes me feel slightly better that I’m not the only person in India who PAYS to speak to morons.
You may not place the deprecated non-block-scoped stage (as in the original question) inside parallel. As of, stage takes a block argument. You may put parallel inside stage or stage inside parallel or stage inside stage etc. However visualizations of the build are not guaranteed to support all nestings; in particular.
The built-in Pipeline Steps (a “tree table” listing every step run by the build) shows arbitrary stage nesting. The will currently only display a linear list of stages, in the order they started, regardless of nesting structure.
will display top-level stages, plus parallel branches inside a top-level stage, but currently no more., if implemented, would display arbitrarily nested stages.
Contents:. They are connected parallel by means of transformer and transmission lines. Under normal operating conditions all the generators and synchronous motors in an interconnected system operate in synchronism with each other. A machine has to be adjusted for optimum operating efficiency and greater reliability if the generators are connected in parallel. As the load increases beyond the generated capacity of the connected units, additional generators are parallel to carry the load. Similarly, if the load demand decreases, one or more machines are taken off the line as per the requirement. It allows the units to operate at a higher efficiency.
Reasons of Parallel Operation Alternators are operated in parallel for the following reasons:. Several alternators can supply a bigger load than a single alternator. One or more alternators may shut down during the period of light loads. Thus, the remaining alternator operates at near or full load with greater efficiency.
Airtel Parallel Ringing
When one machine is taken out of service for its scheduled maintenance and inspection, the remaining machines maintain the continuity of the supply. If there is a breakdown of the generator, there is no interruption of the power supply. Number of machines can be added with disturbing the initial installation according to the requirement to fulfill the increasing future demand of the load. Parallel operation of the alternator, reduces the operating cost and the cost of energy generation. It ensures the greater security of supply and enables overall economic generation. Necessary Conditions for Parallel Operation of the Alternator Most synchronous machines will operate in parallel with other synchronous machines. The process of connecting one machine in parallel with another machine or with an Infinite Busbar system is known as Synchronizing.
The machine carrying load is known as Running Machines while the alternator which is to be connected in parallel with the system is known as the Incoming machine. The following condition should be satisfied for parallel operation are as follows.
